DOC WINS REELECTION

Congressman Doc Hastings issued the following statement on Election Night:
“I want to thank the voters for their support. It’s an honor to represent Central Washington in Congress and I will keep working hard for local families and communities.
Central Washington voters clearly cast their support for candidates who will oppose tax increases, who support economic policies that create more jobs, and who will push for government that works for the people rather than tries to control their lives.
These are principles I am committed to working for over the next two years.”
After the first count of ballots, Hastings was defeating Democrat lawyer George Fearing by a wide margin of 62% to 38%.
Hastings is winning in each of the ten counties in the Fourth Congressional District.
Dino Rossi is also polling a substantial lead in each of the ten counties in the Fourth Congressional District of Central Washington.
