STATEMENT FROM DOC HASTINGS ON PRIMARY ELECTION NIGHT

Following is Doc Hastings’ statement on winning the Primary Election:

“Receiving such a strong percentage in a six-way race is encouraging.  I’m grateful for the support of voters who are responding to my strong stances opposing the bailouts, stopping the out-of-control government spending, and getting our economy back on track.  We need less spending, more responsibility, and policies that support job-creating small businesses instead of punishing them with tax increases.  There will be a clear choice in November between myself and a Democrat candidate that supports President Obama’s agenda, bailouts, stimulus spending and the trillion-dollar health care law.”
